THE INSURRECTION IN SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY
We received from a source entitled to the most implicit credit a corrected statement of the names and numbers of the persons murdered in that most diabolical tragedy—also a list of the negroes, actors in the bloody scenes, who have been condemned to death. About thirty more remain in jail at Jerusalem, to be tried, of whom probably 12 will suffer the same awful punishment. We give them below.
